A message from Susan: It has been a privilege for me to travel for the past 10 months meeting you and hearing your concerns and ideas. We have inspired each other. I recognize that you need the help of Congress. You don’t need Congress to make your lives worse. That’s why I ran for Congress. For a successful first-time candidate, our message of jobs and getting people back to work, the economy and reducing the debt and wasteful spending, national security, and restoring confidence in Congress carried the day. I will continue to drive those issues home and continue to listen to the voters. And I commit to listening to those voters who backed my opponents. Restoring confidence in Congress will take resolve and a focus on truth and integrity. I appreciate your trust in me, and it is my honor to accept your nomination to represent the Republican Party in the General election.
